What Are My Mothers’ Stories?

I am Lian. I am descended from a long line of women—7,500 generations traced from mitochondrial DNA. I am part of HAPLOGROUP H1b. 

Since I learned this, I have been writing the stories of my mothers. How do I know their stories? My mothers’ stories are based on a synthesis of science, history, spirit and soul and my meanderings in our collective unconscious. Mixing these together I have conjured mythic lived experiences of my many mothers. This project is autobiographical fiction.
